Little Wildways Pinterest Publisher

1. Scope

Little Wildways Pinterest Publisher (the “Publisher”) is a private, local tool used by one authorized adult operator to prepare, individually approve, schedule, and publish original Little Wildways content to the operator’s own Pinterest business account.

The Publisher is not offered to consumers or third parties and is not intended for children. Pinterest’s own services are governed by Pinterest’s terms and privacy policy.

2. Information the Publisher handles

Operator-created content and settings

The Publisher handles original Little Wildways images; Pin titles, descriptions, alt text, destination links, disclosure choices; operator-entered intended account and board names; publication times; local validation results; content hashes; per-Pin approval state; and normalized local job status.

App credentials and tokens

The Publisher handles the Pinterest app ID, app secret, and access token needed for authorized API requests. If an Authorization Code flow is used, it may also handle an authorization code and refresh token.

Secrets and persistent tokens are kept only on the operator’s device in its credential store or supplied to the active process. Client Credentials access tokens are process-only. The Publisher does not ask for or store a Pinterest password or session cookie.

Pinterest API information

During an approved operation, the Publisher may temporarily receive authorized account information, eligible board details and identifiers, Pin identifiers, or API status and error information. Except where Pinterest expressly permits otherwise, this API information is used for the active operation, not persisted, and retrieved again when current information is needed.

This public policy page

This static page uses no advertising pixel, analytics script, contact form, or Publisher-set cookie. Hosting and security services may process ordinary request information needed to deliver and protect the page.

3. How information is used

The Publisher uses information only to:

• authenticate the authorized adult operator;
• verify the intended business account and eligible board at run time;
• prepare and validate original Pin content;
• show a complete preview of one exact Pin;
• record approval tied to that Pin’s local content hash;
• publish an approved Pin at the operator-selected time;
• prevent unintended duplicate local jobs; and
• handle authentication, rate-limit, validation, and publication errors.

It does not use Pinterest information for off-Pinterest advertising, audience profiling, competitor research, platform benchmarking, data brokerage, AI-model training, or automated engagement.

4. Individual approval of every Pin

The adult operator reviews the exact media, title, description, alt text, destination link, target board name, publication time, and disclosure choice for each Pin. Every Pin requires its own explicit approval before publication.

Approval is bound to that Pin’s local content hash. A change to the media, copy, link, board, time, or disclosure invalidates approval. There is no implicit approval, approve-all function, or automation of follows, saves, comments, messages, or reactions.

5. How information is shared

For an approved publication, the Publisher sends Pinterest the original media and request fields needed to create the Pin. Pinterest handles that information under its own terms and policies.

The Publisher does not:

• sell or license personal information or Pinterest API information;
• share Pinterest API information with advertisers or data brokers;
• save or redistribute content created by other Pinterest users;
• combine hosting logs with Pinterest API information; or
• make credentials or tokens available to a remote Publisher database.

6. Retention, security, and access removal

Operator-created assets and local workflow records remain only as long as needed for the operator’s publishing workflow and legal or security obligations. Local receipts contain no raw Pinterest API response body, access token, app secret, or retained remote account, board, Pin, or media identifier.

Credentials are stored in the operating system credential store or supplied to the active process and are redacted from logs, screenshots, reports, source control, and campaign files. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no system can be guaranteed completely secure.

The operator can remove access by revoking Pinterest authorization or tokens and deleting the local credential-store entries. Without valid authorization, the Publisher cannot access the account or publish Pins.

7. Children’s privacy

The Publisher is an internal adult-operated tool. It does not create child accounts or collect child names, email addresses, photographs, voice recordings, precise locations, school information, messages, or other child personal information.

Little Wildways creative content may be suitable for families to view on Pinterest, but that does not make the private publishing tool available or directed to children.

8. Rights, policy changes, and contact

Depending on applicable law, an adult may ask about personal information controlled by the operator or request correction or deletion. The operator may need to verify the requester’s identity.

This policy may change if the Publisher’s real operation, Pinterest requirements, or applicable law changes. The effective date above will be updated when a revised policy is published.
