Website privacy policy

Clear information for the grown-ups who visit.

This policy describes the public Little Wildways website. It does not cover the separate, private Pinterest publishing tool, which has its own policy.

Effective: 2026-07-29 Operator: Little Wildways Contact: littlewildwaysstudio@gmail.com

This policy is intended to describe the website’s actual operation in plain English. It is not legal advice.

1. Scope

This policy applies to the public Little Wildways website, including its story pages and grown-up guides. The site is an informational, adult-facing companion to Little Wildways videos. It has no user accounts, comments, contact form, newsletter form, advertising pixels, or embedded video player.

The Little Wildways Pinterest Publisher privacy policy describes a separate, private tool used by one adult operator.

2. Information the website handles

Information processed automatically

When a browser requests a page, Cloudflare processes the request at its edge and may handle the IP address, browser and device details, requested URL, request time, referring page, and security signals needed to deliver, cache, measure, and protect the site.

Cloudflare forwards the request through an encrypted Tunnel to the VPS. The bundled Caddy configuration does not enable origin access logging. The VPS and its system service journal can still record limited operational errors, service state, and security events; an error record may include technical request details needed to diagnose the failure.

Privacy-preserving website measurement

If enabled, this site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate page traffic and performance. Little Wildways does not use that tool to build advertising profiles or follow visitors across unrelated websites. The site does not place its own analytics cookies or use local browser storage.

Email you choose to send

The contact page opens your own email application. If an adult sends a message, the operator receives the sender address and whatever the sender includes. The website itself does not collect or submit that message.

3. How information is used

Technical and adult-provided information is used only as needed to:

  • deliver pages, images, fonts, and downloadable web assets;
  • protect the site from abuse and diagnose failures;
  • understand aggregate traffic and improve site performance;
  • respond to an adult’s inquiry, correction, or rights request; and
  • meet applicable legal or security obligations.

Little Wildways does not sell personal information, run behavioral advertising, or combine website activity with Pinterest API information.

4. Children’s privacy

Little Wildways stories may be viewed by families and young children, but this website is written for parents, caregivers, educators, librarians, and other adults. It does not ask children to create an account, send a message, upload content, provide a name, or share school or location information.

Adults should not email children’s personal information. If you believe a child’s personal information was sent to the operator, contact the address above so the situation can be reviewed and the information deleted where appropriate.

5. Service providers, external links, and sharing

Cloudflare helps deliver and protect the site, and the configured VPS host processes requests needed to serve it. These providers handle information under their own terms and privacy practices.

Story pages link to YouTube rather than embedding its player. A visitor who follows a YouTube, Pinterest, or other external link leaves this site, and that service’s policies apply.

Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or security, or complete a business transition subject to appropriate safeguards. It is not shared with data brokers or advertisers.

6. Retention, location, and security

Cloudflare edge and analytics retention follows the operator’s Cloudflare plan and account settings. The site’s bundled Caddy configuration keeps origin access logging disabled. VPS operational and error records follow the server’s system-journal retention settings. These settings are reviewed when the hosting configuration changes.

Adult email is retained only as long as needed to handle the conversation, related records, and any applicable legal obligation.

Providers may process information in countries outside the visitor’s own. Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used, but no internet transmission or storage system can be promised to be completely secure.

7. Your choices and privacy requests

You may browse without creating an account or submitting a form. Browser controls, network tools, or content blockers may limit analytics requests. You may choose not to follow external links or send email.

Depending on applicable law, an adult may ask about, correct, or request deletion of personal information the operator controls. Email littlewildwaysstudio@gmail.com. Identity may need to be confirmed before completing a request.

8. Changes and contact

This policy may be updated when the website or its providers change. The effective date at the top will be revised when a new version is published.

Questions may be sent to littlewildwaysstudio@gmail.com.
